Solene began teaching our young daughter 3 years ago, who at the time was suffering from severe anxiety. Singing was the only activity should could manage at the time & Solene nurtured her through some very tough lessons when it daughter would barely whisper. Our daughter now sings with confidence & joy.
Solene is absolutely golden. Her depth of experience, talent and her belief in her students make her a rare and exceptional teacher.
Solene will help you find your voice. I was one of those ‘in the shower’ singers but after one year with Solene have sang twice in a North London pub and no-one walked out!! The lessons are fun and experimental which helps you hear/discover your natural voice. And if you record the lesson using your iPhone, you can take Solene’s voice home with you and sing the voice exercises with her all week.

I have had a number of singing teachers but Solene has been the only one who helped me find my true voice and develop parts of my voice that I didn’t think existed. She also will challenge me when appropriate and has helped me learn to sing and play the piano at the same time – something that I never thought was possible. She also gives her students the incredible opportunity to showcase their songs in public which makes the lessons even more rewarding. Solene is very friendly and has the ability to make you completely relaxed and will bring out the best in you. She is also an incredible singer/performer herself and a great person to learn from.

Je prends des cours avec Solène depuis plus de 3 mois et je dois dire que je suis agréablement surprise. Je suis plutôt une chanteuse sous la douche et Solène m’apprend à avoir confiance en ma voix et à la découvrir.et es cours sont fun Si vous aimez chanter alors lancez -vous !!!
Inspiring, challenging, confidence boosting, stress relieving and above all fun! I only feel sorry for Solene having to put up with having to hear my singing. My hour or so with Solene is always a highlight to my week and she is a wonderfully innovative and patient teacher.
Solene has been the best music teacher I’ve had since junior. I’ve always had stage fright in the past when I had to perform in front of people, especially singing! She is a very sweet and encouraging teacher who chilled me down before singing and has provided a lot of detailed guidance throughout the process. After having classes with her for nine months, I have gradually discovered my voice and am able to sing much more confidently (and have performed in a pub already!!) Thank you!:)
